Arsenal star suffers a serious unexpected setback

Alexis Sanchez has been ruled out of play for Arsenal football club after his recovery from injury resulted in a setback that could rule him out until next year. 

Ruled out for another 3 weeks

The Arsenal manager speaking after a 2 - 0 win over their Premier League title contender Manchester City, was quoted saying regarding Alexis Sanchez's setback that ;

"I think he will be back January 10. Christmas period - you can’t count him."

The French man was asked on if Alexis has had a setback…

"He had had a slight one yet but he planned to be on the bench tonight but he is so keen he got a little bit of a pain and we didn’t take a gamble." says Wenger 

The manager thinks Alexis will be back soon 

Meanwhile when he was asked on when Alexis had his setback…he said ;

"Two days ago."

Before the latest setback,  Alexis Sanchez was expected to join the squad this week, but with the injury setback, it means that all Arsenal faithful wishing to see him play now will have to wait till January to see their talisman perform on the field of play.
