When will this lads return to the field of play
After the disappointment at the St Mary stadium, the next thing on the mind of majority of Arsenal fans is when their star players will be back on their feet.


Alexis Sanchez, Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, Danny Welbeck and Santi Carzola are all sidelined at the moment and their absence was undeniably felt in the recent defeat.

Speaking on December 5 after the game against Sunderland, Arsene Wenger said: 

"We know now it is a rupture. It's not the season (over) but it is at least three months, maybe four. He has had surgery, 48 hours ago. I was told yesterday. He wanted the chance to come back quickly so he didn't want to wait for 25 opinions, so he decided to go straight away. The guy said it's a clear case. It's a rupture of the external knee ligament, so he said 'OK, let's do it straight away.'"
